I created my own packets of Potatoes AuGratin by replacing the Oil with Powdered Shortening and packaged it so all I had to do was add HOT water before cooking (3 cups boiling water) now I can pull it out of storage and have a meal ASAP.

Dehydrating
by: Anonymous

Thank you for the post. After I dehydrate my potato slices I will seal the other dry ingredients in food saver bags and then seal those inside a larger mylar bag with the dehydrated potatoes and oxygen absorber and I will have meals ready to go for emergencies.
