This month has flown by. Here we are at the first of November and looking forward to Christmas. With the many challenges we have upon us, this year give the gift of preparation. The first gift I remember from my mother-in-law was a pressure cooker. I have used that pressure cooker for years and years of canning. We have some new and exciting additions to the website this month. The
rocket stove
stove is an excellent alternative for cooking, and it uses very little fuel. You can use any biomass (like corn cobs, twigs, leaves, etc.) to fuel the fire. Watch the YouTubes and see how it works. Using the provident-living-today promo code, you save an additional 5% on the stove. If you want to put together a group order, you can save even more. The
healthy recipes
page has begun. I hope you're enjoying the recipes we've posted. This is going to be a continuous project because we still have many recipes that we want to share with you. Remember to share your favorite garden, food storage, and healthy recipes with us. I have several food storage
recipe books
that I've collected over years. I contacted the authors of my favorite books, and they've agreed to list their books on the website. These ladies have been perfecting cooking with food storage for over 20 years. If you want to get serious about using and loving your food storage make sure you check out these recipe books. Imagine a whole book devoted to
Wheat Cookin' Made Easy,
Cookin' with Beans and Rice,
Cookin' with Potatoes,
Cookin' with Powdered Milk, Cookin' with Dried Eggs,
and
Cookin' with Home Storage.
You're going to love these books. They make great Christmas presents.
Adjust your lifestyle to living providently today, so that when a crisis comes you'll be ready for it. Remember to take one step at a time and consistently move forward in acquiring new skills and routines. You'll enjoy this simple lifestyle.
My newest provident living lifestyle adjustment is using
cloth diapers
for my baby. I love it. They are so easy to use and wash up. They really help with diaper rash. The FuzziBunz diaper is very gentle on my baby's skin. With one to two dozen diapers, I only have to wash diapers a couple times a week.
We also have our
feminine hygiene products
on the website. If you have girls in your home, you don't want to run out of that kind of stuff. But why wait for an emergency, benefit from using these products now. They're a great sanitation solution. Our
Portable Bidet
otherwise know as an emergency toilet paper kit is an important item to have just in case. Most people can't store 2,000 cases of toilet paper, but if you run out of toilet paper, you'll be in a bit of a dilemma. We've added more pages to the
swine flu section
to help you stay healthy this winter. Remember to click on the blue links as you go through the page. Here are a few of the additions: learn the secret of the
Spice Traders,
Oregano
and its many uses,
Silver
not only represents wealth but also health, and the
re-hydration formula
saves lives. Also, Melonie's
pandemic presentation
is now on DVD. Over this next month we're going to put many YouTube clips of the pandemic and water presentation on the website to help those of you haven't had the opportunity to attend one of our classes. I'll update the blog when the YouTube additions are made to the swine flu and water pages. Remember to check the out the Rewards Blog for the 15 newest pages added to the website. If you haven't read the book The Law, you'll want to read it. This one little book has had a powerful impact on my life in teaching me the proper role of government. There's a link to a free download of this book in the
Rewards Bookstore.

It's our desire to get this information out to as many people as possible while there is still time to learn and prepare. When the time to act is here the time to prepare is over.
Read
The Real Story of Thanksgiving
as you feast upon delicious food this holiday season and reflect upon its message for us. May the Lord bless you and you live by true principles, and may you hear the answers to your prayers.
