Green Bean Soup
By John Willis
My husband came up with this fabulous green bean soup. Everything comes straight from the food storage. Plus, you can make it in less than 10 minutes.
Adjust the recipe to fit the size of your family. It also makes great leftovers.
Ingredients:
- 2 quarts of
green beans
- 1 quart
carrots
- 1 quart
homemade spaghetti sauce.
This spaghetti sauce has all the spices to flavor the soup.
- 1 can chicken - If you’re a vegetarian, leave out the chicken.
You can also use hamburger or some other kind of shredded meat. If you have your own chickens, this is a great way to use your fresh chicken. (link coming) - Optional: canned or
frozen corn
#1 Pour the green beans, carrots, and spaghetti sauce into a medium size stockpot (6 quart pot or bigger). DO NOT drain the water off the beans and carrots. It adds to the flavor and consistency of the soup. #2 Shred the chicken and add it to the soup. #3 Heat up the soup. You’re Done. Eat and Enjoy! Tastes great with hot homemade bread. Fast, Easy, Tasty, Nutritious Meal
